Attendee Information

If you have booked to attend Hauora as an attendee there a few things you will need to know before attending Hauora to make sure you get the most out of the event.

Please take your time to look through this page to gain the information you need to make your weekend simple, enjoyable and fun!

Where to Go.

Hauora is held at AUT North Shore Campus, 90 Akoranga Northcote, Auckland.

Registration will be held in AH Block from 8:00am onwards with the Powhiri beginning at 8:30. We would suggest registering early to ensure you have time to make it to the Powhiri.


Parking is available in the main entrance  for AUT North Shore, 90 Akoranga Drive.

Friday – Please park in the marked Pay and Display area. Parking charges will apply.

Saturday – Please park in either Staff Carpark (marked) or Pay and Display area at no cost

Sunday – Park in either Staff Carpark (marked) or Pay and Display area at no cost

Please do not park in any other areas including the Fitness Centre carparks outside AH block, in any other parking areas or in Mobility parks unless a permit is held.

What to bring

We are grateful to our sponsors We-ar, Om Yoga Studio and the Yoga Corner for providing our conference with a collection of mats, bolsters, blocks and straps. Please be aware that we do not have blankets. You will need to bring your own blanket/rug to the conference. If you live locally, please consider our travelling attendees (who may have limited baggage) and bring your own mat, bolster & blocks to ensure our travelers have access to the collection we have on loan.

Booked Accommodation?

If you have booked in for accommodation here are a few things you need to know:

  • Your bedding and towels will be supplied
  • There is no smoking on the property
  • Alcohol is not permitted in the common areas, if drinking please keep any alcohol consumption to within the buildings
  • Antisocial behaviour is not tolerated and onsite staff/security will deal with any complaints.

Check in – You will be able to check in at window in main entrance of the Student Accommodation between 8:30am to 8pm after that follow instructions on sign (if arriving after 8 pm please let us know so we can pass info on).

ID is mandatory and only people booked will be accommodated (all swaps must be done officially via office in advance, no on the day swaps possible).

Check out – You must return your key to the main window. If you forget to do so you may be charged by us for replacing key. When checking out please remove all rubbish from rooms and place in the skips out in carpark (inc recycling). Fridges and freezers must be emptied and dishes done when leaving. Sheets and pillow cases removed and put on floor with towel to laundering when they leave.
